Our Vision…

We purchased Bob’s Auto Repair in May of 2009 for both its nostalgic atmosphere and the small-town location. While several franchises were also considered, the high-pressure sales quotas and marketing tactics we encountered were exactly the opposite of what we were looking for. The retro atmosphere went right along with our vision to provide service the old-fashioned way–where a customer can deal with the owners directly, and expect honest service and quality work at reasonable prices.

No “upselling!” We do not draw customers in the door with a highly discounted service, only to make up for any loss by selling additional services. It is against our policy to recommend additional services unless a comprehensive vehicle inspection or preventative maintenance advice is requested, or potential safety hazards and other warning signs are present and obvious.

Customer driven, not corporate directed. We pay no franchise fees and are not distracted by corporate requirements. We really try to make our customers comfortable here, whether it is with a ride home, a cup of coffee, or just casual conversation while they wait. In other words, we are committed to treating others the way we would want to be treated.

Personal service. Our daily goal is to treat people right, one person at a time. We sincerely hope that your experience in our shop will be a pleasant one. If you aren’t happy with our service, please tell us. If you are, please tell others!
